Tuesday 9 July 1 Timothy 1: 12-20 Qn. 2

So that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. (12): Being faithful to Paul enabled him to do his work well, and he was confident, even daring to speak of the benefits of what he stood for (16). This led Jesus to use him to do many works and miracles. Being faithful does not mean that you are a great person, or that you are at a certain level, but it requires a humble heart and obedience. That Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, (15): Paul was a sinner who persecuted others. Jesus found him and he was changed. Even you where you are, if there is something that prevents you from following Jesus, become humble, you will be accepted, and you will be trustworthy before God (Gen. 4.7). Our God ignores our sins to the point that even the greatest sinner repents and becomes a person worthy of trust before God (13).
