Tuesday 2 July Leviticus 16.1-19 Qn .3
But in this way Aaron shall come into the Holy Place… (3) Aaron was not to enter the Holy Place to meet God any how. He was to spend a given time preparing himself accordingly. God is ready to receive us if we approach him with no fear and with trust (Heb 4.16). Jesus Christ has opened a gate for us to God anytime we need him, but sanctifying ourselves is very necessary. And he shall take a censer full of coals of fire from the altar before the Lord (12). The work of God is not to be done by anyone and any how, whether it is praying, worshiping, offering, leading services, preaching and so on. The good work should be focused on God. Our God is an orderly God (1Kor. 14.33, 40). There are certain things that people attribute to the Holy Spirit, when actually they are doing things in their own kind of disorganized way. Preparation is key and very important. In the present era, things should be well planned and even presented on a paper. Pray: Lord Father we ask you to be our everyday visitor in our home, that we may have relationships and interactions that praise you. Song 290 Gushimisha
