Monday 8 July 1 Timothy 1: 1-11 Qn.1 1Timothy

Timothy, my true child in the faith: (2): Timothy was the son of a Greek and a Jewish woman. When Paul arrived in Lystra he met Timothy, he saw him as a man who praises God, and he decided to go with him. From that day, Timothy began to learn from Paul, and even became a good disciple. They did the first evangelistic trip togetheer in Macedonia as God asked them through a dream (Acts 16.1-3,9). Along the way, we have many who want to follow us, so it is appropriate that we walk in ways that bring glory to God. As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus (3): A good disciple who stands in his duties well, is given the inheritance to continue the duties given to him by his master, but it is possible that at this time Timothy was in a difficult situation in the ministry, which made him feel the desire to leave Ephesus, but he was encouraged to stay there, which he did. Remember: No matter how difficult the situation might be, God will never abandon us, even in difficult times he is with us, so let us preach the Good News boldly, and not be afraid.
