Monday 1 July Leviticus 15.16-33 Qn.4

If a man lies with a woman and has an emission of semen, both of them shall bathe themselves in water and  be unclean until the evening (18): Having sex between man and woman becomes bad or sin if it is done in a way different from what God has ordained. There are three reasons why God created sexual organs for a man and a woman: 1. That a man and a woman may live together as one body. 2. That they may produce children and expand the family for the next generations, 3. That they may keep the promise of God’s love, and for them to truly love each other more. Sexual act between a man and a woman should be done in a well planned manner, in love and respectful way to God and to each of the partners. This is the law for him who has a discharge and  for him who has an emission of semen, becoming unclean thereby (32): God cares about our everyday life, so that our whole body may stay well protected. Our reproduction part of the body should have proper hygiene; let’s avoid misrespect of our reproductive body by using them in a way that does not please God.
