Samson went to Gaza, and there he saw a prostitute, and he went in to her (1): The habit of longing for the Philistine ladies gave his enemies the opportunity to fight him. At Gaza also he stayed with a prostitute, but even there God intervened and took him out of that place (3). Reaching Sorek, he again fell in love with a third woman named Delilah. Some Christians commit the sin of adultery, and even some marriages break up as a result of such, and yet people still don’t stop this bad habit. …, “Seduce him, and see where his great strength lies,…(5): After begging him several times, Samson disclosed his Nazirite secret, and straight away Delilah shaved him and he slept on her laps, then the Philistines came and found him powerless and gouging out his eyes; they could make him grind some grain at the mill in prison (21). The people of God must avoid any sin, for it is detrimental to their lives. Warning: Keep watch over your secret with God, lest Satan rob it from you.
