Wednesday 10 January John 4.1-14 Qn.2

You would have asked him, and he would have given you  living water. (10): The Samaritan woman who came to fetch water stopped what brought her and get filled with curiosity and thirsty to know who is Jesus and how could he dares ask for water to a Samaritan woman. This was due to the fact that Jews disregard the Samaritans (9). Within the response given to the woman, Jesus himself is the water! This is note easily understood to the woman who was filled with thirsty. (7). But what Jesus was telling her was the gift of salvation from God (Eph. 2.7-8). The days when the Son of God was on earth wearing flesh, this made him fast like others, get thirsty, feels the pain and even death reached him (Math.21.18). sometimes we take Jesus as powerful as men are but Jesus is a complete God, whoever sees him have seen our father (John 14.9). Because of his love to us, he humbled himself, came to earth and died for us. Consider: whoever drinks of the water that I will give him  will never be thirsty again (14). Song: 64(Praise)
