Thursday 22 February John 11.28-45 Qn.1,7

“The Teacher is here and is calling for you.” (28): Martha could not hide the good news she received that Jesus whom they had been waiting for has reached at last. She rushed to go and tell   her sister, and she informed her that the teacher was calling her. Jesus calls everyone to come to him, and those who have reached him are also sent to look for others (Luke 10.1-2). Do you ever have that zeal to tell others the Good news of Jesus, and encourage them to to go for him and see him personally? Jesus said, “Take away the stone…” (39) What Jesus required of Martha was only to believe. The fact that Lazarus had been buried 4 days ago doesn’t matter to Jesus. What men are requested to do is removing the stone and leaving everything else to Jesus who knows his reason to be there. May be there are issues in your life that may seem to be beyond their resolution and you are seeing the impossible. Believe in him today and he is going to solve everything. Song 256 (Praises)
