Sunday 26 May Isaiah 65.13-25 Qn. 2
“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth (17) : Isaiah declares that the reign of God will remain on earth, replacing all other kingdoms. There will be no more sin and no more death (17-19 ; Revelation 20.4-6). But the people of God who denied to listen to him and continue to commit sins, their hunger and thirsty will grow (13), while those who obeyed him will be rejoicing (Job 18.12 ; Jer 17.6). I ask God for you to obey God and believe in him. Because believing in God helps us to stay in the covenant even if we might face temptations (Psalms 25.3). No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, (20) : Though death and crying remain, hope also remains. On the reign of the Messiah, the lifetime will be longer than it has ever been before. The hundred years old will look younger and those who will have died will resurrect (Dan.12.2). Consider : The works of the saints will be remembered and they are all written down. (Revelation. 20.12-15). Song 405 (Praises)
