Sunday 25 February Isaiah 40.12-31 Qn. 5,6

Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, (15): Our God is a Mighty God, the nations are like a drop from the bucket, even in his eyes these nations are nothing (12,15). By his will the thunders roar, winds blow and destroy assets and people’s lives but when he speaks only once, everything gets calm (Matthew 8.26). Those who do not believe in him are always fearful and this makes them stray away to build their own gods.(19), Rather than praying to God who created them they worship their own made gods, in addition to what they belittle their creator by saying that it has no power over them. There is a lot of evidence in your eyes showing God as powerful. Let these always urge you to believe in God. But  they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; (3): Holding God in contempt results mostly from indulgence, depression, and other impairments like that, all of which end in disarray (27). Advice: If you are surrounded by people who treat our Lord Jesus Christ with contempt, watch out lest your heart misleads you to the point of deserving punishment (Ezek 7.10-12). Song 38 (Salvation)
