Saturday 3 February John 7.1-13 Qn.1.3

I am not  going up to this feast, for my time has not yet fully come (8b). In these verses, Jesus is said to have experienced diverse problems while staying in Galilee: 1. Lack of freedom to go to Jerusalem with other Jewish people of age according to their tradition. 2. Opposition to his calling to preach the Good News about God’s Kingdom (3-4). Above these problems, Jesus decided to remain faithful to his mission on earth, and he did everything in order and at the right time. On your side, how do you deal with things that persuade you to cheat on what God wants you to do? Don’t you choose the easy way, where you can avoid danger, or win people’s approval?
