Saturday 20 January John 6.41-59 Qn.5

Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood  has eternal life (54): Most of the times Jesus Christ speaks in Parables, acts in a way that those who listened to him got some massage. These days he called himself the flesh and the blood was the days of Easter preparation. This shows how he was trying to reveal that death and resurrection were near by and that the real sacrifice for sins were about to be found. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink (55): This is a metaphor that shows that only in Jesus those who are hungry and those who are thirsty are satisfied (35; Mathew.5.6). Jesus confirms that those who believe in this have eternal life (54). The kindness to us is God gave us his only begotten son on no cost, but saved us by grace (Eph.2.8). Consider: When we receive and abides in Jesus and he abides in us, that gives us eternal life. Song. 85 (Praise)
