Monday 9th June Acts 11.1-18

“You went to uncircumcised men and ate with them.” (3): On his return from Cornelius and reaching Jerusalem, the Jews asked him several questions as in Jewish traditions; the Jews and Gentiles could not sit together and share a meal. Even Jesus faced such challenges (Luke 15.1-2). Jesus came to seek and save the lost and to remove the wall that divided us (Gal. 3.28). Do you ever remember that you have the responsibility to preach the gospel to those who are not yet saved instead of judging them? …,“Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.” (18): After recognizing that the Gentiles also had been filled with the Holy Spirit, the arguments stopped there and then. Repentance and forgiveness of sins are for the all nations of the world (Luke 24.47). Prayer Prayer: Pray for those who are saved to be more characterized by love and all to become one.
