We know  where this man comes from, and when the Christ appears, no one will know where he comes from.” (27) In this chapter people of Jerusalem remain in a state of confusion and misunderstanding as to who Jesus really is. Some say he could not be Christ since they knew where he came from, when actually they had been told that no one could ever know where Christ was to come from (26-27). This information was not true since the origin of Christ on this earth was revealed in the book of Prophet Micah (Micah 5.2). So they were seeking to arrest him, but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come (30): What is amazing is how the Priests and the Pharisees kept their bad plans, and sent the army to arrest him (32). Although these were leaders they had never understood who Jesus was and God’s plan for him. Jesus clearly told these Jewish leaders that they were blind, something they personally were not aware of (John 9:41). You who are reading this message, don’t you have important truth that you don’t understand well? Ask the Holy Spirit to explain it to you and enable you to obey it.
