… what is the house that you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest? (1) : God does not consider how big or beautiful the house built by men might be, even when built for his honor. The bible tells us the history of 5 temples : The first is the temple built by Moses in a tent, the second is the one built by King Solomon (2 Deuteronomy 4.19), the third one was built by Zerubbabel (Ezra 5), the fourth one was built by King Herod renewing what Zerubbabel had built before and the fifth church is the one build by Jesus Christ. This one is mobile (The heart), the reason for which we need to have a believing heart, the heart that is trembled by the word of God, Jesus is the word which has to live in us (John 1 : 1-2, 1Kor 6.19). This church is also under the same conditions as the four other churches, but it has an exception because since a man is more valuable than anything else. We have to live the life that praises God and our works should make the Lord pleased with our lives. Consider : Remember what you do (Hag.1.7).
