Monday 17 June 2 Corinthians 11.1-15 Qn .1,3
For I feel a divine jealousy for you, (2): Paul asked the Corinthians to bear with him since he felt divine jealous towards them. May be he called this his foolishness because the energy he spent preaching them could have brought them to a certain level of spiritual growth, without which he ought to have left them alone. If you keep insisting on evangelism some may take you as a fool. However, the grace of God never gets tired. God is always ready to receive who ever comes to him. God also has that feeling of jealous (Exodus 20:5, 34:14, Deuteronomy 4:24, Ez.8:5). Paul loved the Corinthians, and that’s why he felt jealous towards them. May be he had decided to preach to them freely without asking them for anything because he knew that they had not yet grown spiritually and they had not yet known that the salvation was free; and that they had to follow Christ with no blemish. Question: Do we also have such jealous towards our brethren who have left the way of God and also those who have not yet received Christ? Song: 105 (Praises)
