Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. (2): Marriage is a ritual that was initiated by God in the garden of Eden (Gen.2.18). This means that God supports marriage. In Rwandan culture, just like it was in Cana, wedding is a family affair, so people support each other and invite a big number of people to take part. They have no wine (3): as the wedding was in progress the hosts realized that there were running out of wine. Mary the mother of Jesus, who knew the ability in his son, started to shout out the power that was in Jesus’ name. Whenever you face troubles remember you are not alone, Jesus is with you to help. (Psalm 23.4). We have 3 lessons to learn from this passage: 1. To invite Jesus in all our daily plans. 2. Believing that Jesus has the power to change even the unchangeable. 3. To obey and do what Jesus asks us to do. Pray: Lord Jesus, enable us to invite you in all our plans, which will prevent us from being in danger. Song 328 (Praises)
