Friday 2 February Psalm 68.22-36 Qn.2

The Lord said, “I will bring them back from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea (23): Almighty God has a day that is reserved to punish all who disobeyed him, that no one of them will find a place to hide from his fierce anger, and that is how it will be on the very last day (Revelation 6.16). The singers in front, the musicians last, between them virgins playing tambourines: (26): That time when the enemies of God will have no where to flee from his anger, the chosen of God will be celebrating their victory over the world and Satan. It will be like the day when the Israelites crossed the Red sea, while Pharaoh and his army drowned (Exodus 15.20-21). O kingdoms of the earth, sing to God; sing praises to the Lord, (33): Though some people today call themselves the great ones and the leaders of this world, claiming their gods to be the mighty ones, at the end of everything God will show that he is the only God and the whole world will bow down to him.
